BLMIC Rally at 200 block of North MLK Blvd. Baltimore, MD 21201 (Mother Mary Lange Catholic School)

As the Sunday before Dr. King's Holiday is our third Sunday, we will hold a BLMIC rally as usual from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  


The Rev. Grey Maggiano, Memorial Episcopal Church, will offer our closing prayers. 


Our Related Action will be to collect warm scarves, hats, gloves and socks for the homeless on MLK Blvd. and for the Helping Up Mission.

Voting Rights Rally at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5400 Loch Raven Blvd. Baltimore, MD 21239:

 

In celebration of the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, Faith Church and friends will hold a voting rights rally to urge passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act.  We'll also have letters for you to send to Senators urging passage of the bills. If you want to make a sign, come  to the fellowship hall at Faith at 11:30.  Rally from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

St. Ignatius, Pastorate of St. Ann, Historic St. Francis Xavier, St. Wenceslaus and the Racial Justice Circle, present a celebration with the theme: "That All May be One"  John 17:21

This online event is sponsored by Jews United for Justice and 17 co-sponsors (including BLMIC co-sponsor Bolton Street Synagogue).  It is taking place at the same time as the BLMIC Rally.  Registration is required in order to obtain the link.

Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake presents: "Baltimore's Highway to Nowhere." in honor of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.  This short documentary film begins to explore the irreparable disruption to one of America's most vibrant Black communities in Old West Baltimore.
